Avalanche Fire Up Debut Era With Riotous New Single ‘On The Bags Again’

by | Jan 22, 2026

Australia’s hard-hitting rock ’n’ roll upstarts Avalanche have unleashed their most unapologetically wild track to date with On The Bags Again, a rowdy new single lifted from their forthcoming debut album Armed To The Teeth, due for release on 13th February.

Packed with swagger, chaos and fist-pumping riffs, On The Bags Again is pure Aussie pub rock energy, capturing the spirit of a night out that spirals gloriously out of control. Built around pounding rhythms and a chant-along chorus tailor-made for sweaty venues and packed festival fields, the track wastes no time in cementing itself as an instant live favourite. It’s loud, brash and proudly on the nose – exactly as Avalanche intend it.

Frontman Steven Campbell describes the song as a fly-on-the-wall snapshot of a night that just keeps rolling on, from clocking off work to rounding up mates and ending up far deeper into the chaos than planned. The accompanying music video, shot at a gig in an underground Sydney bar, leans fully into that same sense of mayhem, placing viewers right in the thick of the action.

On The Bags Again sets the tone for Armed To The Teeth, an album that has been more than two years in the making and represents Avalanche’s blood, sweat and beers poured into vinyl. Produced by GRAMMY®-nominated, ARIA Award-winning producer Steve James, the record captures the band’s raw, unfiltered sound and their love of classic, no-frills rock ’n’ roll.

Since emerging in 2018, the husband-and-wife-led quartet – Veronica and Steven Campbell, Blake Poulton and Bon Lowe – have built a formidable reputation through relentless touring and explosive performances. From headlining shows across Australia and Asia to sharing stages with established rock heavyweights, Avalanche have steadily earned their stripes as a band born for loud rooms and late nights.

2026 is shaping up to be their biggest year yet. Following the release of Armed To The Teeth, Avalanche will take their party-starting live show across Europe and the UK, supporting Australian rock royalty Airbourne on the Gutsy European Tour. It marks a major milestone for the band and a chance to bring their full-throttle rock spectacle to some of the continent’s biggest stages.
