Chicagoans Beach Bunny have finally announced their long-awaited post-debut album headline tour! And we’re in luck on this side of the pond with the quartet’s first European dates announced including three UK dates. They have also revealed Cloud 9, the third single from their hotly anticipated debut LP Honeymoon out on the 14th February on Mom+Pop. The dreamy new song is accompanied by a fabulous animated video created by Margaret Bialis.

Check out the video below:

The group’s European dates, kick off in Glasgow on 7th June, taking in Manchester’s YES on 8th June, London’s Boston Music Room on 10th June, followed by Paris and finishing up in Berlin on 15th June. Tickets are on sale now:

Says frontwoman Lili Trifilio of Cloud 9 – “I sought out to write a true, gushy, genuine love song when creating ‘Cloud 9’. At the time I was at a questionable point in my relationship and I was reflecting on the last few years and how despite the ups and downs, love held us together. I hope that anyone who listens to this song can feel the love in the lyrics and give love a chance, as well as remember to always love themselves first and foremost.”

Honeymoon marks Beach Bunny’s first project to be released with Mom+Pop following four self-released EPs that culminated with 2018’s Prom Queen. The album is for anyone who has felt uncertain and doubtful about their future and had the courage to dive in and choose optimism and love. On it, Trifilio pinpoints emotions more clearly and honestly than most artists can with songwriting that is resonant and intimate within a muscular musical palate that perfectly encapsulates the energy of their raucous, life-affirming live shows.

Beach Bunny started in 2015 as Trifilio’s bedroom pop solo project before expanding to a full band in 2017 with Matt Henkels on guitar, Anthony Vaccaro on bass and drummer Jonathan Alvarado joining on. Honeymoon was recorded at the iconic Chicago studio Electrical Audio with producer Joe Reinhart (Hop Along, Modern Baseball, Joyce Manor).
