Buck & Evans Reveal New Single And Video: Sunrise

by | Sep 16, 2019

Buck & Evans performing at The 100 Club, London on 27 May 2019 (Simon Reed)

Welsh ‘Rock ‘n’ Soul’ four piece, Buck & Evans, have released Sunrise, the third single from their debut album Write A Better Day. Whilst the album itself is yet to be fully released (and that better day can’t come fast enough), Sunrise follows in the footsteps of previous singles Slow Train and Going Home and all three are available now on all the usual digital streaming platforms.

Coincident with the release of the music came this stunning video produced by Chris Watkins and Ana Crocker of Thrive Video. Watkins met guitarist Chris Buck at university and the pair have since collaborated on many projects. Filmed in a sound and light equipment warehouse in Cardiff, some spectacular lighting and staging make for a visual and audio tour de force.

The band have been making waves of late with an increasingly prolific profile and recent sell out UK tour. Buck & Evans are on tour once more through the Autumn/Winter with dates as follows:

15.11.19 – Clwb Ifor Bach, Cardiff
16.11.19 – Jimmy’s Liverpool
19.11.19 – The 100 Club, London
23.11.19 – Cathouse Rock Club, Glasgow
28.11.19 – The Flowerpot, Derby
29.11.19 – The Castle & Falcon, B’Ham
12.12.19 – The Facebar, Reading
11.01.20 – Night & Day Cafe, Manchester
01.03.20 – Planet Rock Winter’s End
14.03.20 – The Cluny, Newcastle

Dates in Ireland in February 2020 have also been mooted though there have been no confirmations on this yet. All tickets for forthcoming shows are available from the Buck & Evans website.
