Charlotte Sands Announces New Album ‘Satellite’ & Shares New Single ‘One Eye Open’

by | Dec 4, 2025

Alt-pop powerhouse Charlotte Sands has announced details of her new album Satellite, set for release on 6th March 2026. Alongside the news, she has unveiled a brand-new single, One Eye Open, offering another electrifying preview of what’s to come. The track delivers the high-impact, emotionally charged sound that has become Sands’ signature. Driven by bold vocals and anthemic hooks, One Eye Open digs into themes of self-protection and reclaiming personal power.

One Eye Open is about learning that love isn’t supposed to feel like survival,” Sands explains. “It’s the realisation you’ve been mistaking control for care… taking your power back and choosing your own peace over their chaos.”

Satellite promises a widescreen continuation of her alt-pop evolution, blending soaring choruses, punchy production and incisive lyrics. Sands describes the album as a deeply personal one: “It’s a collection of moments from the last two years of my life—the highs and lows, the joy and the grief. It’s about drifting, discovering, questioning your purpose, and learning to trust the quiet pull that brings you back to yourself.”

Since her 2018 debut, Sands has built a fast-rising career on her own terms. She has landed more than 15 weeks in the U.S. Top 40, earned a Heavy Music Award for Breakthrough Album, and amassed over 300 million global streams—all as an independent artist. Her live reputation has grown just as rapidly, with support slots for My Chemical Romance, 5 Seconds of Summer and YUNGBLUD, plus a successful 2024 world tour behind her album can we start over?. This past summer she headlined idobi Radio’s Summer School Tour.
