Dom Martin releases his latest single Out On The Western Plain on Friday 17th January on iTunes, Spotify and all the other major platforms.

This is such a good interpretation that certainly pays homage to Huddie Ledbetter (Lead Belly) who wrote the original song and then one of Dom’s biggest inspirations, Rory Gallagher, who covered it so successfully in the early 1970’s. I did manage to capture this live performance of Dom performing this song in April last year.

Dom Martin released his highly acclaimed debut CD Spain To Italy at the end of 2019 and Out On The Western Plain was added as a bonus track. So many people have asked why this wasn’t available to stream online and as a consequence it was decided to it release as a single.
