Ella Langley Turns Inward On Reflective New Single ‘Be Her’ Ahead Of Dandelion Release

Multi-platinum country star Ella Langley has released her brand new single Be Her, a candid and introspective anthem that offers a glimpse into the emotional core of her forthcoming sophomore album Dandelion, due for release on 10th April.

Written by Langley alongside HARDY, Smith Ahnquist and Jordan Schmidt, and produced by Langley with Ben West and Miranda Lambert, Be Her finds the Alabama-born artist turning inward. Trading high-drama storytelling for quiet self-examination, the track explores the gap between who you are and who you’re striving to become.

Over steady, emotionally grounded instrumentation, Langley sings of a simpler, more centred version of herself — someone who doesn’t need external validation and feels secure in her own skin. “She don’t need validation or much of anything,” she declares, capturing the song’s central theme of authenticity over chaos and self-assurance over noise. Driven by her unmistakable vocal tone and direct lyrical approach, Be Her feels less like a reinvention and more like an evolution.

“I knew Be Her was a hit the second we started writing it,” says co-writer HARDY. “It’s one of those songs that basically wrote itself. We were done in 30 minutes. Those are always the best ones. It’s so fun to watch Ella and the rocket ship that she’s on, and I’m just happy to be a part of it.”

The official video, co-directed by Langley and Wales Toney, mirrors the song’s reflective mood. A subtle, ritual-like moment unfolds onscreen, hinting at transformation and personal revelation. It’s understated yet intentional — much like the track itself.

Be Her joins previously released singles Dandelion and Choosin’ Texas on the upcoming album. The latter continues to dominate across multiple charts, underlining Langley’s growing presence as one of modern country’s most formidable voices. Crafted alongside executive producers Miranda Lambert and Ben West, Dandelion promises a body of work rooted in growth, lived experience and emotional honesty — balancing raw vulnerability with moments of release and celebration.

The release arrives during a landmark moment in Langley’s career. The Dandelion Tour has already sold out across all 16 arena dates in North America, a significant milestone as she steps confidently into headline territory. Kicking off on 7th May in Toledo, Ohio and wrapping on 15th August in Fort Worth, Texas, the tour will feature support from Kameron Marlowe, Dylan Marlowe, Kaitlin Butts, Gabriella Rose and Laci Kaye Booth across select dates.

Beyond the stage, Langley has also been unveiled as the face of American Eagle’s latest nationwide campaign, further cementing her crossover appeal as both an artist and cultural presence.

With Be Her, Ella Langley offers a reminder that growth isn’t always loud or dramatic — sometimes it’s about quietly becoming the person you’ve always hoped to be. As Dandelion approaches, it’s clear she’s stepping fully into that space.
