Foo Fighters’ guitarist and Country music man Chris Shiflett has announced a sting of European tour dates including 7 UK & Ireland shows. Debuting new single This Ol’ World, taken from his forthcoming second solo record outside of his Jackson United and Dead Peasants monikers and a follow-up to 2017’s West Coast Town, Shiflett’s new material has been directly influenced by the current political shift in Western countries, from Trumpism in the U.S. to Brexit in the U.K. where the axeman often tours with Foo Fighters as well as to attend football matches supporting his beloved Arsenal.

The 47-year-old Californian will be busy this year once again. Following continuous solo touring across the U.S. since last September – a massive 41 dates in all – intermixed with shows with Foo Fighters, the 7 UK & Ireland dates will precede 3 further European shows before Shiflett re-joins Dave Grohl & co. for their massive summer of madness which will see them play festivals across Europe and Brazil, including the huge twin festivals of Reading and Leeds in the UK during August Bank Holiday.
