HAIM Brought Debut LP To London’s Shepherd’s Bush Empire

by | Sep 4, 2023

Following a storming headline set as part of this year’s fabulous All Points East festival at East London’s Victoria Park, L.A.-based sister rock trio HAIM announced a last minute show at West London’s 2,000-capacity Shepherd’s Bush Empire venue to celebrate the upcoming 10 year anniversary of their UK #1-charting, platinum-selling debut LP Days Are Gone.

Calling London their “spiritual home” at All Points East, the sisters made it clear just home important the city is to them, having formed a strong following in the UK by playing grassroots venues in the city in the years ahead of their debut LP dropping.

The sisters, Este on bass, Danielle on lead vocals & guitar and Alana taking up guitars and keys, played their debut LP from front to back and even managed to squeeze in Fleetwood Mac cover Oh Well and brought up their parents Donna & Moti Haim for a rendition of Mack Rice’s R&B classic Mustang Sally, Donna taking up lead vocals and Moti and drums.
