Since releasing his debut album in the late 1990s, Workman has crafted a unique and inimitable sound marked by lush, textured instrumentals, poetic and often whimsical lyricism, and a distinctive vocal style that shifts from raw vulnerability to soaring falsetto with ease. Over the years, his adventurous approach to songwriting and fearless experimentation have earned him gold records, production credits, and a fiercely loyal fanbase around the world.

The UK tour kicks off on 23rd September at Green Note, a cherished folk and acoustic venue that has become a home away from home for Workman in London. The run includes two special matinee shows on 27th September and 11th October, giving fans a chance to experience his captivating performance in an intimate daytime setting.

Beyond London, the 50-year-old will play a diverse range of venues known for their unique character and welcoming atmospheres — including the Hyde Park Book Club in Leeds, a converted petrol station turned indie hotspot; the Folklore Rooms in Brighton, a cozy venue known for its warm acoustics; and Café #9 in Sheffield, a beloved coffee house that hosts some of the city’s most intimate gigs.

Workman’s live shows are renowned for their emotional depth and dynamic arrangements. Whether delivering sweeping orchestral pieces or stripped-back acoustic ballads, he creates an atmosphere of honesty and connection that resonates deeply with audiences. This autumn’s tour promises a chance to see one of Canada’s most original and compelling artists at a more personal scale.

Tickets for all dates are now available, and with such a limited number of shows, they’re expected to sell quickly. If you’re a fan of heartfelt songwriting with a theatrical twist, don’t miss Hawksley Workman on this UK tour.
