South London singer-songwriter Jake Isaac has announced his new album, CRY.DANCE.LOVE., set for release on 19th February 2027. The record sees the acclaimed soul artist explore spirituality, emotional honesty and the complexities of the human condition, with new single ONLY YOURS offering the latest glimpse into a collection built around love, hope and the freedom to express how we feel.
Written and produced entirely by Jake Isaac, CRY.DANCE.LOVE. finds the musician reconnecting with the influences that first inspired him to share his songs. Drawing on the introspective songwriting of Paul Simon and Bill Withers, alongside the gospel power of The Temptations and James Brown, the album brings together classic soul sensibilities and contemporary production.
The new record follows 2024’s BENJAMIN, on which Isaac explored his gospel and soul roots. For his latest release, he has taken that spiritual foundation further, reflecting on his personal experiences and the state of society in 2026. The result promises an uplifting collection that moves between pure soul, dance-pop, soaring ballads and more intimate arrangements.
Explaining the thinking behind the album’s title, Isaac says: “I hope this album will help people value what they feel again. Hence the title. I’ve got a two-year-old and she says how she feels all the time. I want this record to allow people to do that.”
Lead single ONLY YOURS puts those ideas into practice through a love song that looks beyond the fleeting excitement of new romance. Instead, Isaac explores a deeper, more enduring commitment: love shaped by time, devotion and the experiences that make a relationship last. His distinctive baritone sits above an almost hip-hop-inspired beat, creating an unexpected contemporary edge to the track’s timeless soul foundations.
Speaking about the single, he adds: “Its a tune for the ones that have lost hope in love and for those that have found hope in love.”
ONLY YOURS follows the previously released singles A SUMMER LONG AGO and WHEN THE WORLD’S ON FIRE, featuring Aaron Childs, which have helped build anticipation for the album. Across the record, Isaac balances intimate songwriting with expansive arrangements, drawing on a broad palette of sounds while keeping emotional expression at the centre.
Although he takes the lead across the project, Isaac also performs the majority of the instrumentation. Selected contributions come from guitarist Aylwin Steel, bassist Charlie Thornton and Kat Deal, who provides the horn arrangements, alongside a chamber orchestra from Budapest.
The album’s ten tracks trace a path through reflection, relationships and renewal, with titles including DREAMER, FLY AWAY, MERCY PLEASE, THE MACHINES, HERE WITH YOU, EVERY TIME YOU CALL and SUNSHINE, alongside the three singles already released.
The announcement follows a recent intimate performance at St. Pancras Old Church in London, which sold out. Further live activity is expected to be announced in due course.
