No Sinner’s only performance in London created a buzz among the people who came down for their one night only show. Playing songs from their new album Boo Hoo Hoo as well as covers the venue may have been small but that didn’t stop people flooding to watch this band play and the only disappointment was that eventually they had to end.
This is their first time in London I don’t think anyone knew quite what to expect but once they began it felt as though they they had gigged here countless times before and had gained a following of loyal fans.
Not knowing the reaction they would get in-between songs Colleen joked with the audience ‘its dark and I cant see your face’s, maybe that’s a good thing’. However everyone in the room had a smile on their face and were fixed on watching the band play their music.
The performance was lively, with great guitar solo’s and flawless vocals. Singing covers they showed that they can make any song their own with a twist which are likely to be just as good as the originals. This is a band that excel live being able to transfer the energy they have on stage to the crowd and to really get them involved in the music.
Opening the set with their cover of Work Song the crowd was already captured by the bands stage presence and Colleen Rennison’s performance. Playing a range of their different songs from the slow vocal driven Rise up to the more up beat Boo Hoo Hoo. Each song was a crowd pleaser which left them asking for one more song.
Finishing with a cover of Cheryl Dilcher’s All Woman the band left the venue on a high showing London why they are one of the most exciting young bands to come out of Canada at the moment.
