Mumford & Sons Announced As BST Hyde Park 2026 Headliners

by | Nov 27, 2025

American Express presents BST Hyde Park has confirmed that the mighty Mumford & Sons will headline the Great Oak Stage on Saturday 4th July 2026, marking a decade since their last celebrated appearance at the London festival. For a band that emerged from West London’s grassroots scene, the night promises to be a homecoming of the highest order.

Joining them as special guests are The War On Drugs, with the full supporting line-up and festival programming still to be revealed. Tickets go on general sale Thursday 4th December at 10am.

The announcement arrives at a pivotal moment for Mumford & Sons. Their new album Prizefighter lands on 13th February, created at Long Pond Studio with producer Aaron Dessner and featuring collaborations with Hozier, Gracie Abrams, Chris Stapleton and Gigi Perez. It follows RUSHMERE, the band’s 2025 UK No.1 record that powered a sold-out global arena run.

“Hyde Park is woven into our story, it’s where so many memories were made. Coming back a decade later, with all this new music, feels incredibly special. London is and always will be the band’s home. We can’t wait,” the band said in a statement.

Fans can expect a celebratory career-spanning set: early favourites, modern classics, and brand-new music performed live for the first time. If their previous Hyde Park show was anything to go by, the 2026 edition is lining up to deliver one of the biggest communal singalongs of the summer.

Jim King, CEO of AEG Presents, added: “Their last Hyde Park show was a milestone for BST. Having them return at this moment in their career is something we’re incredibly proud of.”

Special guests The War On Drugs bring their widely acclaimed blend of atmospheric rock, placing them among the most respected American bands of the past decade. Their GRAMMY®-winning A Deeper Understanding and 2021’s I Don’t Live Here Anymore cemented their reputation for rich, expansive soundscapes and transcendent live performances—making their addition to the bill a perfect fit.
