Passenger is set to return to his roots with a major open-air hometown performance in Brighton this autumn. The multi-platinum artist has announced a special one-off show at Hove Park, taking place on Sunday 6th September 2026.
The performance marks a full-circle moment for the Brighton-based singer-songwriter, born Mike Rosenberg, who first built his audience busking on the city’s streets before rising to global prominence. Now one of the UK’s most successful independent artists, Passenger has spent years cultivating a worldwide fanbase through relentless touring and a steady stream of releases.
Best known for his landmark album All The Little Lights, which recently celebrated its tenth anniversary, Passenger achieved international acclaim with the hit single Let Her Go. The track topped charts in 19 countries and remains one of the most widely recognised acoustic songs of its era, amassing billions of streams and earning a lasting place in modern pop culture.
Over the course of his career, Rosenberg has released 16 studio albums and evolved from intimate street performances to commanding stages across the globe. His accolades include a nomination for the Brit Awards, an Ivor Novello Award, and recognition at the Olivier Awards for his work on The Unlikely Pilgrimage Of Harold Fry.
Presented by JOY. Concerts in partnership with BBC Radio Sussex, the Hove Park show promises a unique outdoor setting for fans to experience Passenger’s emotive songwriting in the city where it all began. Special guests for the event are yet to be announced.
With a career defined by independence, authenticity, and a deep connection to his audience, this Brighton homecoming is set to be a landmark moment in Passenger’s journey.
