Phoebe Go Announces Debut UK Tour

by | Mar 15, 2023

Australian alt-pop musician Phoebe Go’s debut EP Player earned international acclaim, and having also performed alongside artists including Holly Humberstone, HighSchool and Soccer Mommy, Phoebe Go – the solo pseudonym of Phoebe Lou of Snakadaktal – now announces details of her debut UK tour.

The tour will see Lou headline shows in Manchester and London, before hitting The Great Escape and playing two gigs as special guests to The Teskey Brothers. Tickets for her two headline shows go on general sale HERE from 10am on Friday 17th March. Today also sees the launch of the vinyl format of the Player EP. Set to be released on 12th May via Dalliance Recordings, Player will be pressed on blue 12” vinyl, features an exclusive, brand-new track (To Love Me Now (Demo)) and is available to pre-order HERE. The EP is an introduction to Phoebe Go’s vulnerable, sincere and gut-wrenchingly honest songwriting which poses questions about her career, relationships and existence, yet emerges with heartfelt hope for the future.

Check out the video for Be The Player, Not The Poet from the Player EP below:

Phoebe Go first came to attention with the Melbourne-based dream pop band Snakadaktal before finding further success with the duo Two People. But her solo career has seen the rising star discover her own voice and realise her potential, a process that has been both daunting and liberating. In addition to her UK shows, listed below, Phoebe Go will also play Amsterdam’s Paradiso on 12th April and Motel Mozaique in Rotterdam on 14th April.

UK Tour Dates:

MAY

From Dive Bars To The Dome: Wolf Alice’s Homecoming At The O2 Is A Career-Defining Triumph

There was a crackle in the air before Wolf Alice even stepped onstage, the kind of charged, anticipatory energy that only comes when a band returns to the city that made them. From their scrappy London beginnings to two sold-out nights at The O2 Arena, this felt like a coronation years in the making.
