Roger Sanchez is set to revisit his acclaimed Spectrum album with Spectrum Refracted, an alternate six-track collection of remixes and new material arriving on 16th October 2026. Released earlier this year, Spectrum marked the dance icon’s first new studio album in two decades. The ambitious record brought together house, disco, funk, Latin influences and deeply personal songwriting, while featuring an array of guest vocalists and collaborators.
Now Spectrum Refracted offers another perspective on the album, reshaping several of its tracks through new remixes while introducing the previously unreleased Feel Free, a collaboration between Roger Sanchez and producer, DJ and Run Bklyn Trax Company / Liberate Recordings owner EMan.
Opening the collection, Feel Free arrives as a full-bodied house anthem built around euphoric rhythms, maximal funk and dancefloor-focused production. Flourishes of saxophone add another layer to the track, giving the record a celebratory, summer-ready feel that reflects the energy Sanchez has been bringing to clubs throughout 2026.
The new track sits alongside a series of remixes designed to offer different interpretations of songs from Spectrum. Sanchez himself delivers Flower Power remixes of How Do We Say Goodbye, featuring Karen Harding, and I Don’t Wanna Know, featuring Melanie C. Both versions have become fixtures in his sets during his summer-long Flower Power residency at Pacha Ibiza.
Elsewhere, house music veteran David Morales brings the Latin character of Canto Al Amor, his collaboration with Aaron Sevilla and Kristen Knight, further to the forefront with his Wepaaa Remix. Dani Masi takes on Temptation, originally recorded with Low Steppa and Ragdoll, injecting the track with renewed big-room intensity while retaining the momentum of the original.
Completing the release is a second reworking of I Don’t Wanna Know, this time from Serdar Guven and Ahmed Ahmedov. Their progressive house remix was selected as the winner of a global competition presented in association with Beatport, with Sanchez and Melanie C personally choosing the winning entry from hundreds of submissions.
The resulting remix takes Melanie C’s vocal topline into a more progressive setting, adding another dimension to one of Spectrum’s standout collaborations and giving the competition winners a place on the official Spectrum Refracted release.
For Sanchez, the collection represents more than a conventional remix package. He describes the new material as an alternative way of experiencing the original album, with the title Spectrum Refracted reflecting the way light changes as it passes through a prism.
“These remixes and my unreleased track with Eman have been secret weapons all summer long – at my Pacha Flower Power residency in Ibiza and all around Europe,” says Roger Sanchez. “I wanted to share them with everyone in the way I see and hear them – like light refracting from a prism, changing the way you see it, these versions represent an alternative way to experience songs from my album Spectrum.”
The release also arrives towards the end of Sanchez’s 2026 Flower Power residency at Pacha Ibiza, where he will close out his summer run on 10th October as part of the club’s Grand Closing Weekend. He will be joined by special guests MK and LAEET.
With Spectrum Refracted, Roger Sanchez continues to expand the world established by Spectrum, combining new production, alternative club interpretations and collaborations into a concise package that reflects the different sides of his long-running relationship with house music.
