The Lemon Twigs Announce New Album ‘Look For Your Mind!’ And 2026 UK & Ireland Tour

by | Mar 11, 2026

Long Island brothers The Lemon Twigs have announced their sixth studio album, Look For Your Mind!, set for release on 8th May. Alongside the announcement, the duo have shared the album’s lead single, I Just Can’t Get Over Losing You, accompanied by a new video.

The album continues the prolific songwriting journey of brothers Brian D’Addario and Michael D’Addario, whose meticulous pop craftsmanship and affection for classic rock and ’60s songwriting traditions have defined the band’s sound. Beneath the record’s melodic surface, however, Look For Your Mind! explores darker themes, with Brian reflecting on the feeling of navigating a chaotic modern world and the importance of maintaining personal clarity amid the noise.

The shimmering guitars and buoyant melodies of I Just Can’t Get Over Losing You evoke the band’s signature retro-pop aesthetic, but the song subtly subverts expectations. An unexpected bridge arrives mid-structure, the chorus is deliberately shortened, and harmonies between Brian and collaborator Eva Chambers build toward a euphoric conclusion. The track embodies the band’s tendency to twist familiar pop forms into something slightly unpredictable.

For the first time, the D’Addario brothers expanded their studio lineup to include touring members Reza Matin on drums and Danny Ayala on bass, alongside Chambers of Tchotchke. Previously, the brothers had handled nearly every aspect of their recordings themselves, making this collaborative approach a notable shift in their creative process.

The new album follows a strong creative period for the band, building on the momentum of their previous releases Everything Harmony (2023) and A Dream Is All We Know (2024), both of which marked a renewed focus on classic songwriting and lush arrangements.

To support the album, The Lemon Twigs will embark on an extensive 2026 world tour, including a run of UK and Ireland dates this May. The shows will bring their intricate harmonies and vintage-inspired rock sound to venues across the country, including a London headline performance at O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire.

With Look For Your Mind! the band continue refining their distinctive blend of timeless melody and playful experimentation — proof that their fascination with classic pop songwriting still leaves plenty of room for surprises.
