The Tallest Man On Earth has released When The Bird Sees The Solid Ground, the latest single from his five part series, alongside original studio recording, Down In My Heart, via Kobalt Recordings, both accompanied by Kristian Matsson’s latest self-directed video episode.

Mattson told us, “I’ve been trying to figure out what When The Bird Sees Solid Ground is ever since I started it, and I made a little progress with this song. ‘Down In My Heart’ happened really late one night while I was playing a finger picking that I’d made myself learn a few years ago.”

A year ago Matsson began The Light In Demos. A set of quickly recorded songs, almost entirely on camera helping to develop his keen interest in photography and videography. The idea behind it was being able to get songs out when they were ready, rather than spending a year producing a number of songs and waiting for a release. Matsson found developing the songs and videos at a super-fast pace exhilarating. The Light In Demos helped pave the way for When The Bird Sees The Solid Ground, which expands on Matsson’s original concept by changing it in a few major ways. This time around songs will also be properly mixed and mastered in the studio. The songs will then be released in all the usual places.
