The tour will see frontman and Hollywood A-lister Jared Leto and drummer Shannon Leto revisit material from 2005’s A Beautiful Lie and 2009’s This Is War, records that helped cement their place as one of the most ambitious alternative rock acts of the 2000s. In a move set to excite long-time fans, former guitarist Tomo Miličević will rejoin the band for the shows, marking a rare onstage reunion.

Billed as “two iconic albums, one unforgettable night,” the tour promises a set packed with era-defining tracks including The Kill, From Yesterday, Kings And Queens and Closer To The Edge—songs that propelled the band to global success and multi-platinum status.

Formed in Los Angeles in 1998 by the Leto brothers, Thirty Seconds To Mars have built a career defined by scale, ambition and a willingness to push creative boundaries. Their self-titled 2002 debut introduced a fusion of alternative rock, electronica and conceptual themes, but it was A Beautiful Lie that marked their commercial breakthrough, thanks in part to the striking, cinematic visuals and emotional intensity that became their trademark.

By the time This Is War arrived in 2009, the band had fully embraced their arena-sized sound. The album—shaped by a turbulent period that included a high-profile legal battle with their label—became a statement of resilience, spawning chart-topping singles and leading to a relentless global touring schedule that saw the band perform hundreds of shows worldwide.

Across their career, Thirty Seconds To Mars have sold more than 15 million records and cultivated a fiercely loyal global fanbase, often referred to as the “Echelon.” Their live shows, known for their theatricality and emotional connection, have become a cornerstone of their identity.

Following later releases including Love, Lust, Faith and Dreams, America and 2023’s It’s The End Of The World But It’s A Beautiful Day, the band have continued to evolve while maintaining the core intensity that first defined them.

The upcoming A Beautiful Lie vs This Is War tour taps directly into that legacy, offering fans a chance to revisit two landmark albums in a live setting built for arenas. With a full European run planned, the UK & Ireland dates form a key part of the tour, bringing the band back to some of their biggest stages in the region.
