Tiny Habits Share Mudroom Ahead Of UK Tour

by | Feb 28, 2024

Massachusetts-hailing Tiny Habits release their superb new single Mudroom. The band formed in Boston at the start of 2022 after Maya Rae, Cinya Khan and Judah Mayowa met while at the Berklee College of Music. All three are accomplished singers and songwriters. Their latest tune was produced by Tony Berg (boygenius, Taylor Swift, Phoebe Bridgers) and Will Maclellan and is out via Mom+Pop.

Mudroom follows the release of Small Enough, recorded at Sound City Studios in Los Angeles famous for being home to Neil Young’s After The Gold Rush, Fleetwood Mac’s self-titled LP, Nirvana’s Nevermind and everything in-between with producer Tony Berg (boygenius, Taylor Swift, Phoebe Bridgers). Small Enough was written by the band and showcases their lush harmonies and intimate vocals on this bittersweet gem.

After runs opening for Gracie Abrams, Noah Kahan, and a Tiny Desk Concert backing Lizzy McAlpine, they will return to the UK in May. The band first received recognition and early support from a diverse bunch of artists including the late, great David Crosby, Marcus Mumford, Phoebe Bridgers, and Noah Kahan

Tiny Habits’ first two singles pennies (voice memo) and hemenway were released at the end of 2022, and were met with an overwhelming response, garnering over 1 million plays across all digital streaming platforms in the first couple of months.

Their debut EP Tiny Things was released in April 2023. They went on to open for Gracie Abrams across North America, followed by their own sold-out US tour. Without a doubt, Tiny Habits look set to be one of the breakout acts for 2024. Catch them while you can!

Luvcat Dazzles At KOKO: Theatrical Noir, Liverpudlian Charm And A Dash Of Red Wine Magic

For an artist whose world seems stitched together from silver-screen glamour, smoky jazz clubs and the afterglow of heartbreak, Luvcat – the stage name of Liverpool-born Sophie Morgan Howarth – is every bit as cinematic live as her debut album Vicious Delicious suggests. At KOKO, Camden on Wednesday night, the rising star turned the storied venue into a dreamscape of old Hollywood, haunted romance and camp theatre – a show that was equal parts cabaret, confession and carnival.

Thirty years after Reef hit the charts, they’re back to celebrate the record that cemented them as Britpop stalwarts. After three decades, Replenish stands up as a strong statement, and the way it emerges onstage at the O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire is a slow, realised appreciation of how an album can spread it’s roots over time.
