Trixi’s Grindhouse : burlesque and cabaret raising funds against cancer!

by | Apr 19, 2024

The cream of London’s burlesque scene will gather on June 8th at Signature Brew Haggerston to kick cancer by raising money for Cabaret vs Cancer

At Trixi’s Grindhouse, we will celebrate and honour our beloved Trixi Tassels. The stage of Signature Brew Haggerston will see an incredible bunch of cabaret performers : Valencian queen Tangerine Tassels, glamour ghoul Lucifera Swan, Benjamin Louche, MC and producer of the Double R Club, Beehived bombshell Hélène de Joie, the ever-so-sensual Diamond Dahlia, Heavy Metal Pete, who will make your skin crawl, and shapeshifting showgirl Evelyn Carnate

After a short but brave battle against bowel cancer, Trixi Tassels was taken too soon. What would have been her birthday is about to become the mother of all burlesque parties, celebrating everything she loved while raising funds for Cabaret vs Cancer. The charity, established in 2014 by Rose Thorne, supports people whose lives are affected by cancer through world-class cabaret and burlesque. This event is brought to you by London rockstar photographer and Rockshot Magazine collaborator Pauline Di Silvestro who shared a birthday with Trixi, and many of Trixi’s friends

Be beguiled, titillated, and seduced by a fantastic line-up of London’s finest performers. Saturday June 8th at Signature Brew Haggerston from 6pm onwards. Book your ticket now (£15 + fees) here!

All proceeds of ticket sales go directly to Cabaret vs Cancer

Never Mind A Wet Night In Stoke, Bad Nerves Made The Best Of A Cold Tuesday Night At The O2 Institute Birmingham
