Wild Rivers Share Everywhere I Go As They Hit The Road With Noah Kahan

Platinum-selling indie-trio Wild Rivers hit the road yesterday at 3Arena in Dublin, supporting Grammy-nominated artist Noah Kahan on his sold-out UK/EU tour. Noah, a personal fan of the band, hand-picked the group for the dates, which include two nights at Wembley Arena in London and a night at L’Olympia in Paris. Following the news of the support run, the band announced a headline UK/European tour this November that will start in Berlin on November 4th and include stops in Paris, Glasgow, Berlin, London, and more.

Today, the band have shared Everywhere I Go, their first new single in over a year. The introspective indie anthem teeming with expertly crafted harmonies is extremely personal to Khalid Yassein, who co-wrote the track with Alex Hope (Troye Sivan, Alex Benjamin, Selena Gomez) and Brett Truitt (Banners, Shoffy). He explains, “I was thinking about my grandpa when I wrote this song. He passed away a few years ago, and he was a really important figure in my life. When I was a little kid, we used to sit down at the piano and play together, and we did that all throughout my life until he died. Music was this special bond we had, and any musical ability I have comes from him. When someone truly matters to you, you have no choice but to carry a part of them with you in your day to day life. I’m proud to take after my grandpa in a lot of ways. I think of him when I hear certain songs, when someone makes an inappropriate joke, when I wear his old baseball cap, when I play the piano in my childhood home. It’s a bittersweet and complicated feeling to think about someone who’s gone, but keeping their memory close is worth it every time.

Wild Rivers is comprised of Khalid Yassein (guitar, vocals, keys), Devan Glover (vocals), and Andrew Oliver (lead guitar, synths). Since their 2022 album, Sidelines, which landed at #9 on the U.S. Spotify Debut Album Chart, they have supported The Chicks on their North American tour, sold-out headline North American and European runs, earned over 700 million streams with 4 million monthly listeners and were nominated for Breakthrough Group of The Year at the 2023 JUNO Awards. Their 2020 break-out single Thinking ‘Bout Love has been certified Gold in Australia and Platinum in their home country of Canada.

To further expand their sonic horizons, Wild Rivers have been co-writing with myriot (Aurora, IDER, Halsey) and working with Gabe Wax (Soccer Mommy, Kurt Vile, Adrienne Lenker, Jeremy Zucker) on new music. Building an authentic relationship with fans while channeling classic singer-songwriters and contemporary artists like Samia, Holly Humberstone, and Noah Kahan has been vital to Wild Rivers’ connection with audiences.
