ALYA Brings Christmas Cheer With Two New Festive Singles — Including A Duet With Eric Clapton

by | Nov 13, 2025

GRAMMY®-winning singer-songwriter ALYA is getting into the holiday spirit with the release of two new Christmas singles — a stunning rendition of the classic Silent Night, featuring none other than Eric Clapton, and a brand-new festive original, No More Lonely Christmas.

Fresh from global acclaim for her work on Dead Suns’ Mystic Mirror album, ALYA continues to prove herself as one of contemporary pop’s most versatile and soulful voices. Her music — often blending cinematic pop with elegant, emotive storytelling — takes on a warmly nostalgic hue in these two holiday releases.

Her take on Silent Night captures the song’s timeless intimacy. ALYA’s crystalline vocals drift over delicate instrumentation, soon joined by Clapton’s unmistakable blues-inflected tone. The result is a duet that feels both classic and deeply personal — a fireside conversation in song.

“My life’s dream has been fulfilled to first record one of my favourite Christmas songs, and then to do it with such a wonderful legend as Eric,” ALYA shared. “This is the ultimate Christmas gift to share with the world!”

Clapton added, “ALYA has a really sweet voice. It was a pleasure to duet with her on such a Christmas classic.”

In contrast, No More Lonely Christmas brings festive energy with a big-hearted pop flair. Co-written with Davy Nathan (Christina Aguilera, Josh Groban) and produced alongside Tim Carmon (Eric Clapton, Paul McCartney), the song sparkles with the kind of warmth and melody destined to become a seasonal staple. With its uplifting message — that even in moments of isolation, love and connection are never far away — ALYA delivers a track brimming with hope.

“I feel like this is the new Christmas anthem,” ALYA said. “No matter how bad things could be, even during Christmas, you are loved and surrounded by the presence of love — even if you can’t see it.”

Born in the Soviet Union and raised in Lviv, Ukraine, ALYA now calls Los Angeles home. Beyond her genre-blurring sound — spanning pop, soul, and alt-electronic influences — she’s also an active philanthropist, running the FirstGen initiative, a platform that celebrates the stories of immigrant women from across the U.S.

The Miraculous Second Coming Of The Saints ’73-’78 At London’s Electric Ballroom

There are comebacks, and then there are resurrections. For punk devotees, the return of The Saints ’73–’78 — the latest live incarnation of the legendary Melbourne outfit — firmly belonged in the latter category. With original members Ed Kuepper and Ivor Hay at the helm, and an inspired line-up completed by Mick Harvey, Mark Arm, Peter Oxley, and a three-piece brass section led by Terry Edwards, the Electric Ballroom felt less like a gig and more like a communal rite of appreciation for one of punk’s most quietly revolutionary bands.
