Betty Boo Announces UK & Ireland Tour Celebrating Classic Album Reissues

by | Nov 11, 2025

After a triumphant return to the live circuit earlier this year, Betty Boo has announced another run of UK and Ireland dates for winter 2025, celebrating the reissues of her groundbreaking ‘90s albums Boomania and GRRR! It’s Betty Boo.

Kicking off on 19th November at The Castle & Falcon in Birmingham, the tour will see the Brit and Ivor Novello Award-winning rapper and singer perform in major cities across the country, including Manchester, Cardiff, Glasgow, Dublin, and London, where she’ll close the run with a show at Bush Hall on 14th December.

The announcement follows a packed summer for Betty Boo, who has spent much of 2025 reconnecting with fans across the UK on her first-ever national tour. From intimate sets at grassroots venues like The Trades Club in Hebden Bridge to The Joiners in Southampton, the hip-hop icon proved that her sharp lyricism, stage charisma, and genre-defying pop energy remain as infectious as ever.

This new run of dates promises to be a celebration of her remarkable career, blending nostalgia with new momentum. Fans can expect to hear her classic hits Doin’ The Do and Where Are You Baby?, alongside highlights from her more recent albums — 2022’s Boomerang, her long-awaited comeback after a 30-year hiatus, and 2024’s Top 40 LP Rip Up The Rulebook, widely hailed as her best work to date.

Speaking about the new tour and the rereleases, Betty Boo said she’s excited to celebrate the legacy of her early records with the fans who have supported her from day one. Both Boomania and GRRR! It’s Betty Boo are being reissued as special editions, marking 35 years since her debut and reaffirming her status as one of the most influential voices in UK pop and hip-hop.

There are comebacks, and then there are resurrections. For punk devotees, the return of The Saints ’73–’78 — the latest live incarnation of the legendary Melbourne outfit — firmly belonged in the latter category. With original members Ed Kuepper and Ivor Hay at the helm, and an inspired line-up completed by Mick Harvey, Mark Arm, Peter Oxley, and a three-piece brass section led by Terry Edwards, the Electric Ballroom felt less like a gig and more like a communal rite of appreciation for one of punk’s most quietly revolutionary bands.
