Cowboy Hunters Announce New EP ‘EPeepee’ And Share Raucous Single ‘Have A Pint’

by | Jan 21, 2026

Glasgow duo Cowboy Hunters have announced their forthcoming new EP EPeepee, set for release on 20th March, alongside the arrival of its latest single, Have A Pint. The track offers a feral and immediate introduction to the band’s world, blending their tongue-in-cheek cowboy-slaughter mythology with the gritty reality of Glasgow’s pub culture.

Sounding like a demonic fairground ride unleashed in a bar, Have A Pint distils Cowboy Hunters’ confrontational energy into three minutes of cathartic release. It’s equal parts nihilistic and communal, less a manifesto than an acknowledgement of the chaos, inviting listeners to dance, shout and collide within it.

Based in Glasgow, Cowboy Hunters have steadily built a reputation as one of the UK’s most unpredictable live acts. Sharing duties across drums, bass and vocals, the duo operate with a deliberately stripped-back setup that heightens the physical impact of their performances. Drawing from the raw urgency of punk and the collective release of rave culture, their shows leave little room for passive audiences.

That reputation has already seen them share stages with Franz Ferdinand and English Teacher during 2025, as well as supporting Bob Vylan on the We Won’t Go Quietly Tour. With momentum firmly behind them, Cowboy Hunters are now preparing for a busy year ahead, including supporting Sleaford Mods on their Irish tour, a slot at 2000 Trees Festival, and a headline appearance at London’s Duck and Dive Festival.

EPeepee follows a run of uncompromising releases, including a recent cover of Princess Superstar and Mason’s cult club track Perfect (Exceeder), as well as the EP’s earlier single Money For Drugs. The new EP sees the band continuing to refine their blunt, unfiltered sound while leaning further into their confrontational identity.

Ahead of the EP’s release, Cowboy Hunters will headline the Friday night of Duck and Dive Festival on 6th February at Signature Brew in Haggerston, London. In keeping with the spirit of the new single, the band have partnered with the brewery for a one-off Cowboy Hunters-branded beer, Chunters Cherry Brew, available exclusively on the night.
