D:Ream Announce First London Headline Show in 15 Years Plus Leeds Date for May 2026

by | Dec 9, 2025

‘90s dance icons D:Ream are set to return to the stage next spring, announcing two headline shows in London and Leeds for May 2026. The news follows the release of their acclaimed 2025 comeback album Do It Anyway, which marked a powerful creative resurgence for the duo of Peter Cunnah and Al Mackenzie.

Best known for their era-defining Number 1 hit Things Can Only Get Better, D:Ream became one of the decade’s most recognisable names, scoring multiple chart successes and cementing their place in UK dance music history. After reforming for 2021’s Open Hearts Open Minds, they have continued to build momentum—reuniting with former bandmate Professor Brian Cox during a special Glastonbury Festival appearance and delivering crowd-pleasing sets at Hardwick Festival and Deva Festival in 2024.

Their newly announced Bush Hall date marks D:Ream’s first full London headline show in 15 years, making it a particularly special moment for long-time fans. “We’re really looking forward to getting out there in 2026 and reaching out to everyone, performing the new album… along with some of the old favourites,” says Al Mackenzie. “It’s been too long since we did any headline shows, so we’re going to give it all we can to make them memorable nights!”

Do It Anyway, released in August, stands as the duo’s fifth studio album—a record that pushes their sound further than ever before. While rooted in dance and electronica, the album weaves in elements of funk, trip-hop and pop, pairing expansive production with Cunnah’s sharp and often socially observant lyricism. Songs such as The Geek Who Rules The World and Anthem For Change reflect the world around them, while the title track recalls their early days in “smoke-filled rooms and warehouse parties,” capturing the spirit that first propelled them upward.

Alongside their headline shows, D:Ream will also appear at a selection of festivals and ‘90s Reloaded events throughout 2026.
