Eoin Glackin makes his RockShot debut with the video for new single Eva.

“The song has always been about someone shedding the guilt of what others think and doing what makes you feel happy,” the Dublin-born singer-songwriter tells us exclusively.

“I was trying to think of a video idea that would capture that pretty simple idea but in an interesting way. All of a sudden a dancing cartoon bear pops into my head. I mean, who cares less about what anyone thinks than a dancing cartoon bear? How could I not run with it?

“Life is short, be like Eva the dancing bear!”

The uplifting, foot-stomping summer anthem is taken from Glackin’s latest album, Fires of Innocence. Produced by Karl Odlum (best known for Mic Christopher’s LP Skylarkin’ and its hit Heyday), the collection is stylistically part classic country and part rock opera, with inspiration coming from the likes of Johnny Cash and Meat Loaf

Glackin has been taking the new songs out on the road and can next be seen at Bunkfest, taking place in Oxfordshire from 31st August to 1st September.
