House Of Protection Drop Electrifying New EP ‘Outrun You All’ & Announce UK Tour Dates

One of the most thrilling new forces in heavy music, House Of Protection have released their sophomore EP Outrun You All via Red Bull Records—a genre-hopping, high-octane project that confirms the duo’s position as one of 2024’s most fearless acts. Known for fusing atmospheric trip-hop, art punk, underground electronic, and hardcore chaos, the band wastes no time diving deep into their expansive musical world on this blistering seven-track release.

Featuring three new songs, including the punk-inflected standout Godspeed, Outrun You All arrives as both an evolution and a companion piece to their 2023 debut GALORE. “It’s like the nighttime sister EP to GALORE,” the band shares. “It has all the same energy and more—but it’s definitely darker. Heavier.”

The EP’s structure mirrors a descent into beautifully controlled chaos: opening with the dreamlike crackle of 524å§ł€€|°, followed by the industrial crunch of Afterlife, and climaxing with Godspeed—a track the band says “came together the fastest” and has “a relentlessness we’re always striving for.” Elsewhere, I Need More Than This balances ethereal melody with emotional punch, while Fire and Phasing Out go hard on electronics and distortion. It all closes with Slide Away, a soaring track that bleeds nostalgic alt-rock.

Alongside the release, the official video for Godspeed has dropped—a visual stunner that’s as inventive and boundary-pushing as the music itself. It’s another bold instalment in the band’s growing arsenal of disruptive and cinematic visuals.

The release of Outrun You All marks just over a year since Aric Improta (Fever 333, Night Verses) and Stephen Harrison (The Chariot, Fever 333) launched House Of Protection. Since then, the project has caught fire, with critical praise and tour support slots with Poppy, Bad Omens, and Architects, plus a feature on the latter’s single Brain Dead.

Their journey hits a milestone this weekend with a hometown EP release show at The Roxy in Los Angeles on 24th May—a double celebration that also marks the duo’s shared birthday.

With backgrounds in hardcore and post-hardcore heavyweights, Aric Improta and Stephen Harrison formed House Of Protection with a simple mission: make what feels good—and go all in. With Outrun You All, that means tapping into their love for UK trip-hop, post-punk, Atlanta trap, and ’90s rock, wrapped in a sonic package that’s as cerebral as it is crushing.

The EP’s title, lifted from one of Harrison’s tattoos (a nod to Converge’s “Black Cloud”), isn’t just aesthetic—it’s a rallying cry. A dedication to the artists who didn’t make it this far, and a promise that House Of Protection won’t stop chasing the next creative high. “We match each other’s enthusiasm every day,” says Improta. “And we know the best is still yet to come.”

After conquering stages in the US and Australia, House of Protection will tear through Europe and the UK this summer, including stops at major festivals and a fall arena tour with Architects. UK fans can catch them at the following dates:
