Arriving with a slick one-shot video directed by Rob Fraebel, Monday is a punchy slice of fuzzy power pop that captures the band’s knack for pairing infectious hooks with sharp emotional honesty. Built around themes of anticipation and emotional confrontation, the track balances its upbeat energy with a relatable undercurrent of anxiety and self-reflection—delivered with the band’s signature mix of sincerity and wry charm.

Since forming in 2024, Jawdropped have quickly built momentum, earning attention for their grungy, melody-driven sound and high-energy live shows. Their debut EP Just Fantasy introduced a band rooted in friendship and a shared love of classic alt-rock songwriting, drawing from the spirit of ‘90s guitar pop while keeping things fresh, immediate and undeniably fun.

Their sound thrives on contrast—earnest yet playful, polished yet loose—channeling the kind of sing-along energy that translates effortlessly from record to stage. That reputation has already seen them share bills with a host of established names, and now they’re preparing to bring that same energy to UK audiences for the first time.

This spring marks Jawdropped’s debut run of UK headline shows and festival appearances, including slots at The Great Escape Festival and Dot To Dot Festival. The dates offer an early glimpse of a band on the rise, with their live presence set to introduce their vibrant, hook-laden sound to new audiences across the country.

With a major label partnership now in place and new music signalling a confident step forward, Jawdropped are positioning themselves as one of the most exciting new names in modern indie rock.
