by | Apr 12, 2023

Multi-platinum GRAMMY®-nominated singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist JP Saxe has released his new song, I Don’t Miss You via Arista Records/Sony Music Entertainment. The track is the lead single off his forthcoming album which is slated for release later this year. The highly anticipated single is produced by 2x GRAMMY® Award winning producer Malay with co-writing and guitar by John Mayer.

I Don’t Miss You has a captivating concept in which Saxe invites his fans into different virtual ‘rooms’, each representing ways we lie to and distract ourselves, i.e, through Social Media, Work, Drugs/Alcohol, Numbness/Sleep, and Sex.

Of the release, Saxe states: “Don’t Miss You is me trying to lie to myself about my feelings — how I distract myself from them, how I compartmentalize them, and how I ultimately lose to them. It was produced by Malay and features the brilliant guitar playing of my friend John Mayer. My guiding principle in my songwriting is ‘am I’m telling the truth’, so a song that’s lying to itself may seem a tad antithetical, but the truth is, trying to hide from how I feel about people is a common and futile adventure inside my head, and I’m excited for this song to bring people into that with me.”

Since September 2022, Saxe has released three acclaimed new singles, When You Think Of Me, The Good Parts and Moderación (Con Camilo), which featured five-time Latin GRAMMY® winner and two-time GRAMMY® nominated Colombian singer-songwriter, musician, and producer, Camilo.

It was recently announced that Saxe will return as the opener for John Mayer’s groundbreaking Solo Acoustic Arena Tour’s fall leg, following the tremendous success of the winter/spring east coast run in which JP performed at iconic venues such as Madison Square Garden. The tour will launch with an encore performance at Madison Square Garden in New York City on Tuesday, October 3rd, and will run through November, ending at the iconic Kia Forum in Los Angeles.

Good Grief, Bastille Show No Bad Blood At The O2 Arena

Tonight was a night of reflection. Of celebration. Fifteen years in, Bastille sound as good, and appeal to more people than ever. The fourth time the London band have played the biggest arena in the capital and they feel at home on this stage this size, with their visuals, their anthems and their devout relationship with their fans, they belong here.

“Are we having a nice time so far? Are we getting a bit warmer?” Amy Macdonald grins, peering out at a Hammersmith Apollo audience bundled into coats and scarves. It’s a question that becomes a running joke throughout the night — because despite the November chill and the decidedly frugal heating, Macdonald sets about warming the 5,000-capacity venue the only way she knows how: with humour, heart, and a powerhouse performance that leaves no seat unshaken.

Never Mind A Wet Night In Stoke, Bad Nerves Made The Best Of A Cold Tuesday Night At The O2 Institute Birmingham

Bad Nerves rolled into theBad Nerves tonight armed with a setlist built for chaos, and although the room was a little quieter than expected, the people who were there lit the place up. A smaller Tuesday night crowd didn’t dull the spark – instead it made the gig feel like a secret show shared only between the band and the diehards. And the band fed off it.
