Luvcat is marking the first anniversary of her debut album, Vicious Delicious, with the premiere of a full-length live concert film capturing her recent intimate performance at The Box Soho. The film will be available exclusively on YouTube for 48 hours from 6pm GMT on Halloween, Saturday 31st October 2026.

The release coincides with the arrival of a special first-anniversary edition of Vicious Delicious on vinyl. Available in a limited run through the artist’s official store, the anniversary pressing comes with a signed tartan obi strip and a 16-page booklet featuring previously unseen photographs from the making of the album.

Filmed during a surprise London underplay that sold out in less than five minutes, the concert film captures Luvcat performing to a packed room of devoted fans at the infamous Soho venue. Combining songs from Vicious Delicious, her Lovebites EP and a preview of unreleased material, the performance showcases the Liverpool-born artist’s distinctive approach to storytelling, theatrical presentation and darkly romantic pop.

Opening with cinematic footage of Luvcat walking through Soho before entering The Box, the film recreates the atmosphere of the evening through rapid-fire costume changes, evocative visuals and eerie, Lynchian red lighting. Among its standout moments are a spine-chilling interpretation of the Twin Peaks Theme, a shower of red rose petals during He’s My Man and the live debut of Mademoiselle, a new track written just weeks earlier in Hollywood.

The evening reaches a suitably theatrical conclusion as a troupe of can-can and cabaret dancers join Luvcat on stage for encores of Bad Books and Dinner @ Brasserie Zédel. The performance also offers fans an opportunity to hear Alchemy, an unreleased song that has already become a favourite among her audience. Introducing the track on the night, Luvcat shared the unusual romantic inspiration behind it: “This is a song about when a handsome French sailor whisked me off to Paris for the week. The love story ended in the back of a police car, as all the best love stories do.”

Reflecting on her previous visit to The Box, she also recalled an experience that perfectly captures the wonderfully surreal world surrounding the artist: “The last time I was in The Box, it was a fever dream. Delightful and disturbing. I came to as the bright lights were turned on at 6am dancing on a tabletop with the prince of Spain. Or France. It’s all a little blurry…”

Originally released on Halloween 2025 through AWAL, Vicious Delicious has now surpassed 220 million streams. The album reached Number Four on the Official Independent Albums Chart, establishing Luvcat as one of the most distinctive new voices in British alternative pop.

The anniversary celebration follows the release of Lovebites, a five-track EP that expanded the narrative world of her debut. The collection included a reimagining of He’s My Man featuring legendary punk poet Dr John Cooper Clarke, alongside Electric Chair, a dark, sprawling duet with Pete Doherty. The EP also featured Vampire At The Beach, further exploring the blend of noir glamour, tragic romance and sharp wit that has become central to Luvcat’s songwriting.

Since breaking through with Matador, the artist has built an international following through her distinctive musical identity and theatrical live performances. Her past year has seen her play more than 100 shows across 25 countries, with festival appearances at Glastonbury, Reading & Leeds and Rock en Seine, where she opened the main stage for Chappell Roan. She was also named Breakthrough Artist of the Year at the Northern Music Awards.

The anniversary concert film offers a chance to revisit a special night in the capital, while the limited vinyl edition provides a new collectible for fans of the debut. Together, they celebrate a landmark year for an artist whose music continues to blur the lines between alternative pop, theatrical storytelling and dark romantic fantasy.

The Vicious Delicious anniversary concert film premieres on YouTube at 6pm GMT on Saturday 31st October and will remain available for 48 hours only. The limited, signed first-anniversary vinyl edition is available to order now through Luvcat’s official store.
