I love Neil Young. I do not love his artist/concert manager who made all the photographers stand behind a red line in the corner of the pit and gave me a very narrow shooting angle behind a camera man. However we have what we have and must get on with it and all in all some quite OK shots. Sorry about the clichés.
The set opened with his now customary playing of the Beatles “A Day in The Life” and a faux rendition of God Save the Queen whilst the set scientists and builders hoisted a ragged flag up the overgrown microphone stand.
One of the rare times NY turned toward the camera during a blistering Powderfinger.
