House music pioneer Roger Sanchez has announced his long-awaited return with Spectrum, his first studio album in two decades, set for release on 5th June.
Marking a major moment in dance music, Spectrum arrives as a culmination of six years’ work, bringing together a wide-ranging cast of collaborators from across the global electronic scene and beyond. To coincide with the announcement, Sanchez has unveiled new single Temptation, teaming up with Low Steppa and featuring rising vocalist Ragdoll.
Built for peak-time dancefloors, Temptation is a high-energy slice of big room house, pairing crisp, polished production with an anthemic topline. The collaboration reflects a transatlantic connection between Sanchez’s New York roots and Low Steppa’s UK club heritage—two worlds that have long shaped the evolution of house music.
The track follows earlier previews of the album, including Come My Way, which showcased Sanchez’s ability to channel UK club influences into a modern context. Across Spectrum, that balance between classic house foundations and contemporary sounds is a defining thread.
A GRAMMY® Award-winning artist, Sanchez has remained a central figure in global dance culture since emerging from New York’s underground scene in the 1990s. Known for his iconic track Another Chance and his long-standing Ibiza residencies, including sets at Pacha Ibiza, he has built a legacy rooted in both innovation and authenticity.
Spectrum reflects that legacy while pushing forward. The album features an eclectic mix of collaborators, from house heavyweights like Fedde Le Grand to vocal powerhouses including Karen Harding, Kelli-Leigh and Kele Le Roc. It also reaches beyond the dancefloor, with appearances from Melanie C and Donae’o, highlighting Sanchez’s ability to bridge genres.
Throughout his career, Sanchez has consistently championed both established and emerging talent, and Spectrum continues that ethos—offering a platform for newer voices alongside globally recognised names. The result is a record that feels both expansive and cohesive, rooted in collaboration and creative exchange.
Beyond the studio, Sanchez’s influence remains firmly embedded in club culture. As the founder of labels such as Stealth Recordings and Undr The Radr, he has continued to shape the direction of house music while mentoring the next generation of artists. His recent UK appearances, including standout sets in London and Bristol, reaffirm his enduring connection with audiences on this side of the Atlantic.
With a new Ibiza residency on the horizon and Spectrum set to drop this summer, 2026 is shaping up to be a landmark year for Roger Sanchez. Two decades on from his last studio album, his return feels less like a comeback and more like a continuation—one driven by the same passion for the dancefloor that defined his rise.
