ROSIN Unveils Tender New Video Honouring Long-Distance Love

by | Jul 3, 2025

Berlin-born, London-based singer-songwriter ROSIN has shared the beautifully intimate video for her latest single just a boy, a heartfelt tribute to the joys and ache of long-distance love. A rising voice in the indie-folk and experimental pop space, ROSIN’s latest release captures the fluttering nostalgia and romantic yearning that come from falling for someone far from home. The video is an extension of that emotional journey, delicately portraying the warmth and vulnerability of a relationship kept alive through screens and memories.

“I fell in love with someone while I was travelling,” ROSIN explains. “Shortly after, I found myself in a long-distance relationship. It had been so long since I’d experienced love so strongly, and it made me romanticise everything — which I think is necessary to cope with the distance.”

Working with director Kynza, the video weaves together tender moments captured in Mexico with her partner and reflective scenes shot back home. “We wanted to create the feeling of falling in love through the screen,” ROSIN shares. “How the mind flutters back through happy memories when you’re apart.”

With her soft, emotive vocal delivery leading the way, ROSIN paints a picture that feels both deeply personal and universally relatable. Her songwriting, influenced by the likes of Phoebe Bridgers, Adrienne Lenker, and James Blake, embraces emotional nuance without shying away from the more fragile aspects of human connection. This latest release follows previous singles Intention and Nest, both of which showcased ROSIN’s lyrical ability to elevate fleeting moments into lasting memories. While Intention explored the beauty in temporary intimacy, Nest captured the euphoria of instinctive love.

A daughter of two visual artists, ROSIN grew up in a richly creative environment in Berlin before relocating to London via Brighton to pursue her music career. Her sound, balancing folk roots with modern indie and electronica flourishes, continues to evolve through collaborations and a growing circle of fellow artists. Her 2021 debut EP Now I’m A Woman introduced listeners to a songwriter unafraid to reflect on vulnerability and growth. With this latest release, ROSIN cements her place as one of the UK’s most promising new voices — an artist whose work is as emotionally intelligent as it is musically captivating.

With her latest video bringing her long-distance love story to life, ROSIN invites listeners to find beauty in the in-between — and in the connections that transcend distance.
