The Jacques Announce Riotous New Single ‘All The Other Sinners’ Ahead of Second Album ‘Make Repetition!’

by | Jul 11, 2025

London/Bristol alt-rock trio The Jacques are ramping up momentum ahead of their second album Make Repetition! with the release of their blistering new single All The Other Sinners — a searing, melody-drenched slice of chaos and catharsis out now.

Following the urgent jolt of recent singles Dead Man’s Garden and Via Delarosa — the latter drawing comparisons to Pixies and Parquet Courts — All The Other Sinners is another bold step forward in the band’s reinvigorated era. Taken from Make Repetition!, due out on 5th September, the track captures The Jacques at their most sonically unshackled and emotionally open to date.

Paying homage to the golden age of alt-rock, All The Other Sinners fuses the woozy groove of The Stone Roses with the chiming, jangly urgency of early R.E.M., all wrapped in the band’s distinct DIY punk energy. The result is an anthemic and reflective track that crackles with life and swagger, proving The Jacques have matured without losing their edge.

Frontman Finn O’Brien delivers a typically urgent performance, narrating the contradictory forces of modern love and self-sabotage with a disarming openness. “It’s about making peace with being part of the chaos,” he explains. “We’re all striving to be better in one way or another.”

The track was produced by Dan Swift (Snow Patrol, Biffy Clyro), who brings a sharp edge to the band’s sonic palette while preserving their raw, livewire essence. The album promises to push further into this territory — marrying introspective lyricism with unpredictably vibrant production.

The Jacques have spent the last few years earning their stripes through exhilarating live shows alongside the likes of The Libertines, Nova Twins, and most recently Public Image Ltd., with whom they’ll return to the road this summer for select tour dates.

With Make Repetition! on the horizon and a London headline show confirmed for 11th September at Omeara, The Jacques look ready to claim their place as one of the UK’s most vital and volatile alt-rock outfits.
