The Jacques, The Sukis & Pistol Daisys Unite For ‘The Wheels In Motion Tour’ This September

by | Apr 20, 2026

A new wave of UK indie talent is set to hit the road this autumn as The Jacques, The Sukis and Pistol Daisys team up for The Wheels In Motion Tour, kicking off this September.

Curated by Motion Talent, the tour is built around a simple but enduring idea: getting back to grassroots touring and bringing live music directly to fans in intimate venues across the UK. With affordable ticket prices and a focus on independent spaces, the run aims to spotlight emerging artists while supporting the country’s vital live music circuit.

Each band brings a distinct sonic identity to the bill. The Jacques, a London-via-Bristol trio, have earned a reputation as relentless road warriors, blending mutant punk, psychedelic grunge and indie rock into a chaotic, high-energy live experience. Having shared stages with Public Image Ltd and played major festivals, they continue to build momentum through sheer grit and touring spirit.

Liverpool’s The Sukis add a sharp-edged alternative rock punch, pairing explosive performances with lyrics that dissect the realities of youth. Meanwhile, Glasgow trio Pistol Daisys inject a vibrant alt-pop energy, fusing confessional songwriting with dancefloor-ready hooks, creating a sound that’s both emotionally raw and instantly infectious.

Together, the three acts represent a cross-section of the UK’s rising underground, united by a shared drive to take their music directly to audiences. With new material expected from all three bands this year, The Wheels In Motion Tour promises to capture them at a pivotal moment in their evolution.

Full Circle At O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire: Lifehouse Return To London In Intimate Acoustic Triumph

There are gigs that simply entertain, and then there are gigs that transport you. Lifehouse’s long-overdue return to London at O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire is very much the latter. Eleven years since their last visit to the capital, Jason Wade and longtime guitarist Steve Stout strip everything back for the second of two London acoustic shows—following the previous evening’s performance at nearby Bush Hall—and in doing so remind a packed Shepherd’s Bush Empire exactly why these songs have endured for a quarter of a century.

It was yet another warm, sunny London day, the start of the country’s next heatwave, as thousands descended on Hyde Park for the final day of the second BST Hyde Park weekend of 2026. There was another event looming over the evening too: England’s World Cup Round of 16 clash with Mexico, kicking off at the decidedly unsociable hour of 1am. Football could wait though. Sunday belonged to disco legends, glam-pop icons and one of Britain’s most enduring bands as Duran Duran headlined a day that effortlessly balanced nostalgia with timeless musicianship.
