The Nocturnal Affair Bring Their Brooding Brand Of Dark Rock Back To The UK And Into Europe For The First Time

by | Jul 20, 2025

Las Vegas dark rockers The Nocturnal Affair are set to make their long-awaited return to the UK — and for the first time ever, the band will storm mainland Europe — as part of a scorching 14-date summer run with horror-punk legend Wednesday 13 and alt-metal icons Drowning Pool. The tour, which kicks off on 24th July in Buckley, Wales, will see the band hit cities across the UK, Germany, Poland, Austria and the Netherlands, bringing their brooding, cinematic sound to audiences who’ve only experienced the group from afar — until now.

On returning to British shores, frontman Brendan Shane shares his excitement: “We can’t wait to see our UK Nocturnal Family. Returning so soon feels like the holidays came early. And the fact that we get to do this with Wednesday 13 is such a plus. If you haven’t seen him and his band in action you’re really in for a treat.”

The tour also marks the band’s debut performances in mainland Europe, something Shane is particularly thrilled about: “The excitement is palpable. I get excited every time I think about the sights, the wonderful people, the food, the chocolate! And with Drowning Pool?! It was their music that started the party everywhere I went when I was younger — and now they’re starting our journey in the EU. It’s SUCH an honour.”

The Nocturnal Affair are currently riding high off the back of their darkly infectious single Cross Me Out, which recently climbed to No. 28 on the Billboard Rock Charts. The track — co-written with hitmaker Jonny Andrews (Halestorm, Three Days Grace) and mixed by Logan Mader (Machine Head) — has racked up nearly 3 million views on YouTube and showcases the band’s signature mix of haunting melodies, atmospheric production and emotionally raw lyricism. Watch the video below:

The band is also continuing promotion for their powerful video Benefit Of Doubt, while their acclaimed debut album (META)MORPHOSIS — produced by Disturbed’s John Moyer — continues to resonate with fans of moody, genre-blurring alt rock.

Heavily inspired by the likes of Type O Negative, HIM, Nine Inch Nails, and David Bowie, The Nocturnal Affair bring a melancholic edge and theatricality to their sound — equal parts industrial punch and gothic introspection. Since their 2021 debut, they’ve played with artists across the alt-metal and rock spectrum including FOZZY, HELLEYEAH, Asking Alexandria, Pop Evil, and even mainstream rock acts like 3 Doors Down and Black Stone Cherry.
