The Nocturnal Affair Return To The UK With Wednesday 13 And The SoapGirls

by | Oct 23, 2025

Las Vegas dark rockers The Nocturnal Affair are set to return to the UK this November, joining Wednesday 13 and The SoapGirls on the Mid Death Crisis UK Tour. Following their triumphant summer run alongside Wednesday 13, Drowning Pool and Max Cavalera’s NAILBOMB, the band are back to deliver their haunting brand of “dark rock” to British audiences once again.

Frontman Brendan Shane shared his excitement about the upcoming tour, saying: “We’re honoured to be joining Wednesday 13 and The SoapGirls on the Mid Death Crisis UK Tour in November! Our summer tour with these guys was one we’ll never forget — we can’t wait to reunite and do it all again, but even better.”

The return comes on the back of a standout year for the band. Their latest single, a darkly powerful reinterpretation of Haddaway’s 1993 classic What Is Love, has been making waves on U.S. rock radio — landing among the top five most-added songs on the Billboard rock charts. The track transforms the dance-pop anthem into a brooding, heavy, and cinematic anthem, complete with soaring vocals and melancholic intensity.

Speaking about the single, Brendan Shane said: “Haddaway wrote a song that’s clearly timeless. No matter what generation listens to it, they make it their own. We brought people out to party with our reimagining of What Is Love, and by the time we hit the stage, the crowd already claimed the song. It’s out of our hands now — we’ve revived a monster.”

The Mid Death Crisis tour follows a summer of high-profile support slots across Europe and the UK, where The Nocturnal Affair impressed fans with their commanding stage presence and emotionally charged performances. The band’s mix of industrial textures, gothic atmospherics and heartfelt lyricism has earned them a growing reputation both at home and abroad.

After the UK dates, the band will close out a landmark year with a special hometown headline show at Backstage Bar & Billiards in Las Vegas on 12th December, joined by six of the city’s rising rock acts.

Their growing fanbase has been quick to embrace the band’s signature sound — a mix of crushing riffs and melancholic melody, steeped in the spirit of Type O Negative, HIM, and Nine Inch Nails. Since releasing their debut single Down in 2021 and full-length album (META)MORPHOSIS — produced by John Moyer of DisturbedThe Nocturnal Affair have built a strong presence across U.S. and European stages, supporting acts such as Fozzy, HELLYEAH, Asking Alexandria and Pop Evil.

With What Is Love now streaming on all major platforms and more new music on the horizon, The Nocturnal Affair continue to rise from the shadows — carrying the torch for dark, melodic rock into a new era.
