TS7 Teams Up with Katie May for Explosive New Single ‘Only One’

by | Sep 2, 2025

This summer has already been a big one for TS7, and now the Bradford-born DJ and producer is capping it off with a release fans have been demanding: Only One. The track sees him reimagine Katie May’s 2007 underground classic You’re Not The Only One, this time with Katie herself returning on vocals.

First unveiled during high-energy sets at Bassline Festival and Bassfest, Only One immediately struck a chord with audiences, sparking calls for an official release. The single now lands with Katie May’s topline as soaring and infectious as ever, paired with TS7’s razor-sharp production that injects the anthem with fresh power while staying true to the spirit of the original.

Reflecting on the collaboration, TS7 – real name Thomas Sampson – says: “I spent many weekends as a teen raving to this one. It was an absolute anthem in my hometown Bradford so I jumped at the opportunity to give it a rework for 2025. It’s one of those hooks that you find yourself singing without even realising. Really excited to get this one out to the world.”

Since breaking through in 2007, TS7 has carved out a reputation as one of the leading figures in UK bassline and garage. His catalogue boasts tens of millions of streams with heavyweight tracks including Real Raver (with Slick Don), Freak and Slow Down, alongside a string of sought-after remixes. In 2025 alone, he’s already dropped Secrets, Fallin’, and an acclaimed remix of Jorja Smith’s The Way I Love.

His remix credits span names as varied as James Hype, Estelle, Sigala, Bru-C, and Disciples, while collaborations with Clementine Douglas, Karen Harding and Skepsis have further showcased his versatility.

Renowned for his dynamic live sets, TS7 has taken his sound to international stages, with UK highlights including Glastonbury, Reading & Leeds, Parklife, and Creamfields. Next up, he’ll go back-to-back with Denon Reed at The Steel Yard, London on 26th September, before joining the bill for The Halloween Shutdown at Digbeth Arena, Birmingham on 25th October, headlined by Giggs.

Amy Macdonald Warms A Frozen Hammersmith Apollo With Heart, Humour & Huge Hits

“Are we having a nice time so far? Are we getting a bit warmer?” Amy Macdonald grins, peering out at a Hammersmith Apollo audience bundled into coats and scarves. It’s a question that becomes a running joke throughout the night — because despite the November chill and the decidedly frugal heating, Macdonald sets about warming the 5,000-capacity venue the only way she knows how: with humour, heart, and a powerhouse performance that leaves no seat unshaken.
