by | Jun 23, 2025

British music legends Duran Duran have announced their first-ever UK Halloween extravaganza, set to take over Manchester’s Co-Op Live on Friday, 31st October 2025. Promising a night of haunting glamour, sonic mischief and spine-tingling surprises, the one-off show will mark the UK debut of the band’s acclaimed Danse Macabre Halloween Party.

Originally conceived during a now-legendary Halloween performance in Las Vegas in 2022, the Danse Macabre show has since evolved into an annual spectacle for die-hard fans and the seasonally-inclined alike. That original night inspired the band’s 2023 album Danse Macabre — a collection of new tracks, eerie reinterpretations of Duran Duran classics, and thematic covers — now widely praised as one of the band’s most inventive offerings in years.

“We are devilishly delighted to announce that we are bringing our annual Halloween extravaganza to the UK for the first time,” keyboardist Nick Rhodes shared. “It will be a unique, themed show unlike any of our other performances, overflowing with shocks and surprises — so even we do not know what may happen on the night… We invite you to dress for the occasion and Danse Macabre with us at Co-Op Live in Manchester on October 31st.”

Frontman Simon Le Bon added: “I’m so excited to be coming to Manchester for this special Halloween concert. In fact, I’m thrilled — and, frankly, a little terrified!”

Fans can expect a career-spanning setlist peppered with Duran Duran’s iconic hits and rarely performed deep cuts, all cloaked in spooky, theatrical flair. This exclusive show follows a sold-out Danse Macabre performance at Madison Square Garden in 2024, which Forbes lauded as “a mix of chills, glamour and fun that only this band could deliver.” Brooklyn Vegan called it “a total blast.”

Tickets will be available through various presales beginning Wednesday 25th June, with general sale opening Friday 27th June at 10:00 AM BST. Full ticket information can be found at duranduran.com/tour.

This announcement crowns a prolific year for the band, which has seen Duran Duran perform across Europe, appear at Italy’s iconic Sanremo Music Festival alongside Måneskin’s Victoria De Angelis, and even collaborate in-studio with legendary producer Nile Rodgers at Abbey Road Studios. They also launched two luxury perfumes — NeoRio and Black Moonlight — in partnership with Italian house Xerjoff, the latter named after the Danse Macabre lead single.

Danse Macabre has received glowing critical reception. The album has solidified Duran Duran’s late-career resurgence, helping to earn them their 10th UK Top 5 album and continued relevance across generations. With over 100 million records sold worldwide, countless accolades, and an unmatched ability to reinvent themselves, Duran Duran’s Halloween celebration in Manchester is shaping up to be one of 2025’s most unmissable live events. Prepare to dress up, show up, and get haunted.
