Hannah McFarland Joins Riley Green’s UK Tour This September Following Breakout Year And Acclaimed EP ‘Broken Hearts’

by | Jul 22, 2025

Fast-rising Alabama-born country artist Hannah McFarland is set to make her UK live debut this September as the official support act for Riley Green’s UK and Ireland tour. The announcement marks a milestone moment for the Broken Hearts singer-songwriter, who has spent 2025 building unstoppable momentum with her emotionally candid music and compelling live performances.

Fresh off the back of her critically acclaimed debut EP, Broken Hearts, released this spring, McFarland is poised to win over even more fans across the Atlantic. The five-track collection — produced primarily by Will Bundy (Keith Urban, Kameron Marlowe) — delivers a powerful journey from grief to growth, encompassing heartbreak, faith, and the redemptive power of new love. Tracks like Whiskey Into Water showcase McFarland’s natural flair for raw storytelling and her gift for transforming pain into poetic insight.

“My whole vision for Broken Hearts was to put words to these difficult feelings we all experience,” says McFarland. “So other people can feel less alone.”

McFarland’s reputation has grown rapidly throughout 2025. She toured earlier this year with Dylan Marlowe and Conner Smith on their co-headlining Did We Just Become Best Friends? tour, and has shared stages with country mainstays like Kip Moore, Zach Bryan, and Tucker Wetmore. She was also announced as an opener for Chase Rice’s fall U.S. tour.

In June, McFarland delivered a full-band set at CMA Fest on the Good Molecules Reverb Stage in Nashville, where she debuted In Case You Didn’t Know 2.0 — a duet reimagining of Brett Young’s hit, which she co-wrote for his re-release project.

The upcoming UK leg with Riley Green adds an international chapter to McFarland’s whirlwind year. With a major-label debut under her belt via The Core Records/Capitol Records and a burgeoning fanbase drawn to her warm voice and lyrical vulnerability, she’s fast becoming one of Nashville’s most exciting exports.

“Are we having a nice time so far? Are we getting a bit warmer?” Amy Macdonald grins, peering out at a Hammersmith Apollo audience bundled into coats and scarves.
