Muse Announce Huge Will Of The People Shows

by | Aug 19, 2022

The Mighty Muse have announced four massive UK shows as part of their upcoming world tour in support of the British trio’s ninth studio record Will Of The People which drops this month. This follows a series of already-announced intimate U.S. and European shows lined up for October.

Muse @ Hammersmith Apollo

Muse played a run of small shows to preview tracks from the new record earlier this year including two stops at London’s Hammersmith Apollo ahead of hitting the summer festival circuit, but these are the first announced shows that promise to deliver the Muse “experience” fans have become accustomed to with every new record.

Last month saw the release of the group’s latest new album cut, of which frontman Matt Bellamy said: “Kill Or Be Killed is Muse at their heaviest! We wanted to update our hard rock sound on this album and with Kill Or Be Killed we found a modern metal sound featuring double bass drum action and even a death growl. Lyrically the song takes influence from my favourite Paul McCartney song Live And Let Die, a dark take on how life’s adversity can sometimes bring out the worst human instincts to survival at any costs.”

A special treat for all British rock fans, Brighton-based rhythm section-driven duo Royal Blood have been announced as special guests on the tour for all UK dates aside from Glasgow!
