The newly announced UK & Ireland dates underline just how far Kahan has come. Returning this November, he will play multiple nights in Glasgow, Manchester, London and Dublin—his biggest run of shows across the region to date.

Joining him across all UK & Ireland dates is rising pop newcomer Bella Kay. For fans of country music, Brooks’ announcement is nothing short of historic. The U.S. icon, certified by the RIAA as the best-selling solo artist in American history with 162 million album sales, has not performed in the U.K. since 1998. Known for blending country with pop and rock, Brooks’ influence helped bring the genre to mainstream global audiences in the 1990s.

His career is littered with firsts: 1991’s No Fences was the first country album to go multi-platinum, while Ropin’ The Wind became the first to top the U.S. pop charts. He’s scored 20 Billboard #1 singles, notched nine RIAA Diamond Awards, and is the only artist in history with Top 5 singles at U.S. country radio across five consecutive decades.

Brooks’ live shows are legendary too. Lewis Capaldi: The Ultimate Comeback

Two weeks later, Lewis Capaldi will take the stage for what is set to be a defining moment in his career. Having first broken out in 2019 with the chart-dominating Someone You Loved, Capaldi went on to release two record-breaking albums and become one of the most-streamed artists of his generation.

After stepping back from the spotlight following an emotional and wobbly appearance at Glastonbury Festival in 2023, Capaldi made an emotional return this year at Glastonbury Festival 2025, delivering a surprise half-hour set on the Pyramid Stage that introduced his latest single Survive — now the fastest-selling single of 2025. Written and produced across the last two years, Everybody Scream finds Welch working in close creative partnership with Bowen, The National’s Aaron Dessner, and alt-pop visionary Mitski. The album was born from an intensely personal chapter: midway through the Dance Fever world tour, Welch was forced to cancel shows and undergo emergency, life-saving surgery. The ordeal not only altered her relationship with her own body but also shaped the themes of her new music.

Where 2022’s Dance Fever explored ecstatic release through dance and folklore, Everybody Scream journeys inward. Florence immersed herself in spiritual mysticism, witchcraft and folk horror while recuperating, exploring what it means to be “healed” – physically, emotionally, and spiritually. The record treads through universal yet rarely confronted experiences: the shifting landscapes of womanhood, the fragility of partnership, the inevitability of aging, and the shadow of mortality. Welch describes it as an excavation of “the murky in the mundane” – a reminder that even the most everyday human moments are haunted by mystery.

The album’s first offering, the title track, captures that tension. Opening with a tremor of restraint before exploding into cathartic release, Everybody Scream is at once feral and reflective, a cry from the pit of the stomach that somehow becomes a hymn. De Wilde’s accompanying video heightens the sense of uncanny domesticity slipping into ritualistic spectacle, positioning Welch once again as a high priestess of modern alternative music.

Since emerging with 2009’s Lungs, Florence + The Machine has been one of the most singular voices in contemporary music. With her volcanic vocal presence and flair for the mythic, Welch has cultivated a body of work that straddles art-pop, baroque rock, and gothic folk. Albums such as 2011’s Ceremonials and 2015’s How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful cemented her as an artist who could command the intimacy of headphones and the vastness of stadiums alike. Her subsequent records, High As Hope (2018) and Dance Fever (2022), further expanded her reputation as a songwriter unafraid of vulnerability, reckoning with sobriety, love, loss, and creative rebirth.

Everybody Scream thus arrives not only as the next chapter in Florence + The Machine’s discography but also as a statement of survival and transformation. If Dance Fever was about surrendering to life’s ecstasies, Everybody Scream is about grappling with its limits – and discovering new forms of power within them. With collaborators like Dessner and Mitski helping to shape its edges, the album is likely to expand her sonic palette while staying true to the elemental power at her core.

As Welch herself has hinted, Everybody Scream is not a retreat but a charge forward. The 31st October release date – Halloween – seems fitting: a night when the veil between worlds is thinnest, when transformation and ritual reign. “Thanks so much for being here to see me tonight,” he told the crowd with a grin. “It’s a pleasure to be opening for Gracie [Abrams] tonight. I haven’t met Noah yet, but I’m looking forward to seeing him tonight!” The admission — delivered with wry honesty — was met with laughter and applause, a reminder that FINNEAS isn’t just a brilliant musical mind, but a natural on stage too.

He opened with the brooding Lotus Eater, quickly setting the tone with cinematic tension and lyrical precision. That energy carried into Cleats and 2001, the latter of which saw him descend the steps of the stage and connect with the front row, even borrowing a fan’s phone to film during part of the track before expertly throwing it back to her from the stage — a playful and intimate gesture that charmed the already captivated audience.

With his mother — musician and TV star Maggie Baird — watching proudly from the wings, FINNEAS also brought out close collaborator, co-writer, and now new co-band member (of The Favors) Ashe, joining him for the melancholic The Little Mess You Made and the unreleased The Hudson. The chemistry between them was undeniable, and the latter track received an enthusiastic welcome despite being new to many in the crowd. The duo closed out their shared segment with Till Forever Falls Apart, a fan favourite from Ashe’s catalogue that felt right at home in the hands of its co-writer.

“It’s been such a fun experience to write these songs over the years and record them and play them for you — it feels like the icing on the cake,” he reflected mid-set. “Thanks so much for giving us this job, this opportunity to play these songs.”

Break My Heart Again and I Lost a Friend offered quieter, reflective moments in the set — a showcase of FINNEAS’s ability to hold a festival audience with just voice, keys, and raw lyricism. But things ramped back up with Let’s Fall in Love for the Night and the buoyant closer For Cryin’ Out Loud!, a final burst of joy that left the field buzzing.

For those who turned up early for Noah Kahan’s set, FINNEAS delivered far more than a warm-up — he offered a masterclass in emotional pop songwriting, magnetic stage presence, and sincere artistry. While he’s been by sister Billie Eilish’s side through those early bedroom demos to headlining Glastonbury’s Pyramid Stage, he’s star in his own right, Friday’s set showed that when FINNEAS steps into the spotlight, he more than belongs there.
