Bandini’s Captivating Late Night Show

by | Mar 19, 2018

Singer-songwriter Bandini presents his latest single, Late Night Show.

Born and bred in Italy and London-based, Bandini is an exciting contemporary artist who was raised on jazz, blues and the art of storytelling and songwriting from an early age. He began showcasing his talent by busking on the London streets before building a presence on the open mic circuit with his individual blend of acoustic jazz and blues and distinctive vocals.

Following the release of his version of the Dr John classic, Such a Night, last year, a full-house Sofar Sounds concert and a sold out launch gig at London’s Jamboree in February, Late Night Show is now available to download

Inspired by the story of a night out in the effervescent streets of London, Late Night Show is the first single from the upcoming album Barfliesproduced by renowned UK soul artist Camelle Hinds (former bass player with The Style Council amongst others). It’s undoubtedly a get-up-and-dance track and through Bandini’s re-imagining of fusion music, it successfully incorporates jazz, blues, rock and gypsy into a unique and enchanting single.

Bandini, whose sound is described as ‘organic New Orleans gypsy blues pop’ is about to embark on a series of gigs (see below). His performances are described as an event, rather than simply a gig, and he will be supported by his full-10 piece band.

With his unique sound and enigmatic and theatrical stage performances, Bandini is quickly becoming one of the most relevant emerging acts today.

Watch The Making of Barflies below, a series of videos produced by Seven Eight studio that presents the creative process behind the album and all the people who collaborated to it.

Good Grief, Bastille Show No Bad Blood At The O2 Arena

Tonight was a night of reflection. Of celebration. Fifteen years in, Bastille sound as good, and appeal to more people than ever. The fourth time the London band have played the biggest arena in the capital and they feel at home on this stage this size, with their visuals, their anthems and their devout relationship with their fans, they belong here.

Amy Macdonald Warms A Frozen Hammersmith Apollo With Heart, Humour & Huge Hits

“Are we having a nice time so far? Are we getting a bit warmer?” Amy Macdonald grins, peering out at a Hammersmith Apollo audience bundled into coats and scarves. It’s a question that becomes a running joke throughout the night — because despite the November chill and the decidedly frugal heating, Macdonald sets about warming the 5,000-capacity venue the only way she knows how: with humour, heart, and a powerhouse performance that leaves no seat unshaken.

Never Mind A Wet Night In Stoke, Bad Nerves Made The Best Of A Cold Tuesday Night At The O2 Institute Birmingham

Bad Nerves rolled into theBad Nerves tonight armed with a setlist built for chaos, and although the room was a little quieter than expected, the people who were there lit the place up. A smaller Tuesday night crowd didn’t dull the spark – instead it made the gig feel like a secret show shared only between the band and the diehards. And the band fed off it.
