Glastonbury Festival 2025: The Park Returns With A Wild, Wondrous Lineup Of Music And Mayhem

by | May 17, 2025

Towering over Worthy Farm from its panoramic hillside perch, The Park is once again staking its claim as Glastonbury’s most eclectic, electrifying, and enchantingly offbeat corner. With the Festival’s latest announcement unveiling the full lineup for The Park Stage and its constellation of surrounding venues, 2025 is shaping up to be one of The Park’s most unforgettable editions yet.

Blending world-class live music, late-night debauchery, thoughtful discussion, queer celebration, and out-there art installations, The Park has always been more than just a stage — it’s a destination, a mindset, and a microcosm of everything that makes Glastonbury legendary.

Park Stage Lineup: Headliners, Debuts, and Pindrop Performances
The beating heart of the area, The Park Stage, is set to shimmer with some of the most exciting names in contemporary music. Headlining the hilltop amphitheatre are the transcendently theatrical Anohni And The Johnsons, electronic shapeshifter Caribou, and the triumphant return of indie legends The Maccabees, in a rare live appearance that’s sure to stir fans old and new.

Adding to the magic, Portishead’s enigmatic vocalist Beth Gibbons will deliver a solo set that promises raw beauty and emotional weight, while synth pioneer Gary Numan makes his Park Stage debut, decades into a trailblazing career.

But the brilliance runs deep: Mercury-nominated provocateur Self Esteem, poetic powerhouse Kae Tempest, post-punk newcomers English Teacher, Baltimore’s beloved Future Islands, and rising alt-rockers Wunderhorse all join the fold. Add to that Japanese Breakfast, Lucy Dacus, Girl In Red, Faye Webster, and French icon Yann Tiersen, and you have one of Glastonbury’s most adventurous and well-rounded lineups on any stage this year.

With appearances from the boundary-pushing Osees, dream-pop auteur Ichiko Aoba, and surreal post-punkers Horsegirl, The Park continues its tradition of celebrating artists who sit at the vanguard of genre and imagination.

Stonebridge Bar: 30 Years of Chaos and Club Culture
If The Park Stage is the soul of the area, Stonebridge Bar is its hedonistic heart. This year, the notorious late-night dance den celebrates 30 Years of Bugged Out, paying homage to the seminal club night that helped shape UK rave culture.

Dancefloor pilgrims can expect legendary b2b sets from the likes of Erol Alkan and Fall Forward, euphoric party-starters from Confidence Man presents Active Scenes, and a heartfelt tribute to jungle pioneer DJ Randall.

Heavy hitters including DJ Seinfeld, Eliza Rose b2b Spray, Ahadadream, Modeselektor (Reggae Set), Hot Chip DJs, and Gilles Peterson will keep the BPM thumping into the early hours, while cult favourites like Fleetmac Wood, DJ Boring, Emerald, and Cool Hand Flex round out a schedule stacked with both nostalgia and discovery.

Scissors! – Queer Wonderlands and Late-Night Delights
After an unforgettable debut last year, The Park’s femme-queer funhouse Scissors! is back and even more dazzling. This surreal venue combines clubbing, cabaret, and a cinematic hideaway into one kaleidoscopic playground for all identities and inclinations.

Featuring sets from queer party titans like He.She.They, Queer House Party, Pxssy Palace, and Dykes On Decks, Scissors is also the place to catch performances from genre-defying artists including Jaguar, Travis Alabanza, Ruby Rare, and Seayonce. Come for the haircut, stay for the revolution.

At night, Kiki’s Nightclub comes alive with back-to-back DJ sets and immersive visuals. By day, the venue offers everything from pool tables and movie screenings to a lush beer garden where stories start and legends grow.

The Wishing Well: Dreams, Dub and Discovery
Another returning gem, The Wishing Well is equal parts spiritual oasis and genre-spanning stage. This year’s lineup includes the timeless soul of Craig Charles, the euphoric vibes of Beatles Dub Club, a set from Orbital’s Phil Hartnoll, and feel-good grooves from Iraina Mancini and Westside Cowboy.

Surprises are guaranteed in this dreamy enclave, with Transgressive Takeover, Sofar Sounds, and Soulstice all curating moments of connection, contemplation, and community.

Free University of Glastonbury: Ideas That Spark
For those who need a break from the beats but still crave stimulation, the Free University of Glastonbury offers a feast for the intellect. This year’s speakers include broadcaster Miranda Sawyer, scientist Prof. Alice Roberts, author Robin Ince, actor Dominic West, and singer-activist Pauline Black.

In a world that moves fast, The Free University remains a space to pause, reflect, and get inspired by some of the UK’s brightest minds and most passionate voices.

Hidden Corners and Iconic Traditions
As always, The Park overflows with quirky attractions and beloved spaces. Climb the Ribbon Tower for one of the most iconic views on-site, or cast your own keepsake at The Forge. Join a jam at the Big Easy Jam, recharge in the serene embrace of Humbellwell, or explore The Spinney, back for its second year with nature-led calm and creativity.

Don’t miss intimate and eclectic sets at HMS Sweet Charity, where you’ll find everything from the Pickle Juice Sisters of the Zodiac to Madalitso Band, Bobby Charisma, and Sonido Tupinamba. Over at Bimble Inn, join a Power Ballad Yoga session, or catch genre-jumping acts like Electric Jalaba, 3 Daft Monkeys, and Alex James’ Britpop Classical DJ Set.

The Spirit of The Park: A Festival Within a Festival
If the Glastonbury experience is one of pilgrimage, then The Park is its temple of the curious and the bold. It’s where the mainstream meets the experimental, where sunrises follow sleepless nights, and where every corner hides a new adventure.

With this year’s mix of legendary artists, genre-defying performances, and soul-awakening spaces, The Park in 2025 isn’t just a destination — it’s a revelation.
