Packed with sharp wit and irresistible hooks, Wish I Didn’t finds Moroney delivering a playful warning to a charming but questionable love interest. Written by Moroney alongside Emily Weisband, Hillary Lindsey and Luke Laird, the track balances breezy confidence with emotional bite, showcasing the fearless songwriting that has become her signature. Produced by Kristian Bush, the song surges with radiant guitar lines, stacked vocals and high-energy country-pop momentum.

The single arrives alongside an official music video, which sees Moroney starring opposite Dylan Efron in a stylish, action-packed narrative. Playing a seemingly perfect couple with secret double lives, the cinematic video adds a dramatic twist to the song’s themes, pairing glamour with explosive tension and ending on a cliffhanger that hints at more to come from the Cloud 9 era.

Described by Moroney as a record written by the “strongest, most confident version” of herself, Cloud 9 is a 15-track statement that captures her evolution both personally and artistically. Alongside Wish I Didn’t, the album features fan favourites 6 Months Later and Beautiful Things, as well as high-profile collaborations with Ed Sheeran and Kacey Musgraves. The album will be available digitally and across multiple vinyl editions, including a signature pink pressing.

This autumn, Megan Moroney will bring her rapidly growing live show to the UK and Ireland as part of THE CLOUD 9 TOUR, following huge demand across her international headline dates.
