by | May 19, 2026

Texas-raised, Nashville-based country duo Smithfield have announced a string of UK headline dates for later this year, marking their long-awaited return to British stages following their breakout appearances at C2C London in 2023. The tour will see the duo perform across England alongside a headline slot at the British Country Music Festival in Blackpool.

Comprised of Jennifer Fielder and Trey Smith, Smithfield have steadily built a reputation as one of modern country music’s most compelling independent acts, blending soaring harmonies with emotionally-driven songwriting rooted in the classic male-female country duet tradition. Their return to the UK comes as the pair continue teasing a new project expected later this year.

Speaking about the upcoming shows, the duo shared their excitement about reconnecting with UK audiences: “We have been anxious to make it back to the UK since our performances at C2C London 2023. We’ll never forget the welcome and warmth we received from the UK crowd and how deeply we felt that our music was appreciated.”

They added: “We’re excited to bring our music to several different cities this time and hopefully make a lot of new fans. We are honoured that the British Country Music Festival asked us to headline, and we are committed to building our fanbase in the UK for the long-term, and making our British fans feel like part of the Smithfield family.”

The announcement follows the release of latest single Let You, a playful and infectious up-tempo track exploring irresistible chemistry and emotional surrender. Co-written by the duo alongside GRAMMY®-nominated songwriter Karen Kosowski and Emma D Ashlee, the track continues the momentum established by previous single Giving Up On Us, offering another glimpse into the duo’s forthcoming release.

Over the last decade, Smithfield have become a major force within the US country scene, amassing more than 150 million global streams while earning over 40 appearances at Nashville’s legendary Grand Ole Opry. Their blend of modern country polish and timeless storytelling has also seen them share stages with artists including Morgan Wallen, Brothers Osborne, Kane Brown, Old Dominion and Dustin Lynch.

Away from the stage, the pair have also documented the realities of independent artistry through their ongoing bi-weekly documentary series Figuring It Out, giving fans a behind-the-scenes look at life on the road and the determination required to carve out a sustainable career in country music without major label backing.
