Vision Premiere: Albert Man, Diamond In The Rough.

by | Jan 27, 2017

RockShot Magazine is pleased to premiere Albert Man’s new video, Diamond In The Rough, the final video release from his forthcoming 5-track EP, Nothing Of Nothing Much due out on 3rd February 2017.

Featuring captivating hooks and the melodic, piano-led sound we’ve come to expect and love from Albert, Diamond In The Rough also features Joe Garvey (Best Male Nominee 2016, Best of British Unsigned Music Awards) who adds vocals and Prince-inspired guitar to the track.

Nothing of Nothing Much is Albert’s second EP and his third release to date, following the success of 2016’s critically acclaimed album, Cheap Suit, which won Best Independent Album in the Alternative Friday Awards. It was recorded in London at Pete Townshend’s Grand Cru Studio along with producer and guitarist Rhys Downing (credited on Mark Ronson‘s Uptown Special).

Nothing Of Nothing Much with its striking and self-produced 1980’s-inspired artwork is available for pre-order now on iTunes here, with I Feel Like Dancing immediately downloaded as an instant gratification track.

The launch party for the EP is on 8th February 2017 at St Pancras Old Church in London and is a night not to be missed, with special guests Craig Gallagher and Joe Garvey. You can buy tickets here.

RockShot had the pleasure of interviewing Albert in October 2016, ahead of his performance at Blogtober Festival, where RockShot curated its own night of live music. You can read the interview here
